POSITION: The Michigan Immigrant Rights Center (MIRC) is seeking candidates for full-time staff attorney position providing trauma-informed legal services to detained low-income immigrants as part of the statewide detention team. This position is open in any of our five offices--Detroit, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Lansing, and Ypsilanti. This is a chance to join a talented team doing important and challenging work at a critical time.

Job Announcement: Supervising Immigration Attorney

POSITION: The Michigan Immigrant Rights Center (MIRC) is seeking a Supervising Attorney to help lead MIRC’s dynamic and committed immigration legal services team, assigned as a local supervising attorney. Please note that this position is funded in part through a federal contract that is currently being renewed under a shorter funding cycle. Employment offers will be aligned with our current contract period (through July 31, 2026), with the expectation and hope of extension as additional funding becomes available.
